Coach’s full name: Rick Bell

Coaching History: Volleyball since 1985; Girls Fastball since 1984; Hockey since 2005; Officiating since 1984.

Sports played? I have played several sports since my days in high school such as: football, track, volleyball, hockey, slo-pitch and baseball. Presently I am still active in the local men’s no hit hockey league in Moose Jaw.

Provincial History: This is the second year in a row making it to the Girl’s 4A provincials (5th in 2009). Prior to this, a few teams that I coached around the Lloydminster area made it to the district (regional) competition. Various athletes to make it to Track and Field provincials.

Teaching history: I am presently in my second year at Vanier (5th with Holy Trinity School Division). My teaching history is varied having taught in a K-12 rural setting near Lloydminster, Gr. 7-9 Middle Years in Weyburn, and Gr. 5 and administration in Swift Current. Overall I have been enjoying this profession and helping students have success for 23 years.

Favorite sport: My favorite sport would have to be hockey but closely followed by volleyball and football.
