Hello. So the Opening Ceremony just ended, it had kind of a nervous air to it at the start but that was probably just the athlete's excitement for the tournament to get started. Once the speakers started speaking though everybody just relaxed and listened. We had speakers like the mayor, Ken Parker the commissioner, Alysha the captain of the Unity Warriors team, and many others. Also, thanks to Vicki Orobko for MC'ing the Opening Ceremony and organizing it too.
Right now we're waiting for the first game to get going, between the Clavet Cougars and the Sen. Myles Venne Huskies. They're just warming up now, and I'll finish this post after they've played.
Clavet won in a rather convincing way, winning the first set 25-11, and the second 25-14.
The next game up is Carenport vs. Birch Hills so keep checking for more posts because we'll be updating all day long baby.
