Hello again everyone, and good morning. Welcome to the second day of provincials. Today is ALL PLAYOFFS which I'm sure comes with some added intensity and excitement and other such things. Right meow I'm watching the round 1 of playoffs between LCBI and Melfort. LCBI won the first set 25-15, Melfort won the second set 25-22.
We're now well into the third set and it's 24-24. Both teams are playing really well. Okay and now Melfort won by a close score of 27-25.
Meanwhile in the Sr. Gym, Lumsden is playing Birch Hills. The first set just ended, Lumsden won 25-17, and the second set is just getting underway. Lumsden seems to be taking a quick early lead, they're up by seven points, the score's 7-0. The serve goes to Birch Hills now. Real impact player for Lumsden is their #4, with great offense, as well as #13 who really helps her team with her front row defense. It's now 16-6 in Lumsden's favour and they seem to be taking a rather quick and easy lead.
Lumsden had a seemingly easy win there over Birch Hills, final score: 25-11.
